To think parking eye is a complete scam

Received a "fine" for £90 from parking eye despite paying correct amount for ticket and emailing them the same day to say their machines not working and wouldn't let me put registration number in correctly. Looked on Internet and lots of people seem in the same boat to and are being threatened with bailiffs etc if they don't pay fine yet the machines seem to be regularly out of use. Having to spend time and effort appealing but luckily have kept ticket and copy of email. Will never use their car parks again

Ha daughter has just got 'fine' (hopeful invoice) from these bunch of scam artists. She is at uni in Portsmouth. basically from research just ignore every letter they send and do not waver. Jane x

That seems to be the general advice that they have no power but are good at threatening. I hate scams like these and think of all the people who will just pay up eg the elderly, the car park in question was the only one in a small village that people going to the doctors are forced to use.
