my Dp plays an online game and he talks to american people over the internet, (we are from the uk) anyhow one mentioned he couldn't be on long today as it was mother's day and he wanted o take the mother of his children out for lunch.

Any how he said to me, i just got to pop out for a few minutes, and came back with a bunch of flowers and a box of choclates...then said sorry i couldn't get you a card as there was none in tesco.

me puzzled i ask a card for what, he said mother's day (to which i said it's not mother's day and we have already had it this year) but thanked him for his thought anyhow

YANBU. Sweet DP, and love the totally not required guilt! Did he remember our UK mothers' day?

AuntiePickleBottom · 08/05/2011 21:40

ROFL at your DP thinking he had messed up! Did he not smell a rat when the whole supermarket wasn't covered in promo stuff like it usually is!? Very sweet of him though. x

Sorry I have just snorted pepsi max on reading this. Grin

Bless your DP. Even funnier when we had Mothers Day just a few weeks ago.
