She is all over the papers. is she that good?

my cousin claims she was the best act she'd ever seen live. Ever. She has such a beautiful voice, I'd love to go and see her somewhere.

Not my thing but others seem to be going mad over her.

She's got an amazing voice.

Saw her a few years ago when she was still up and comming - chasing pavements had just been released, and she was phenomenal. Want dh to get me tickets for my birthday. Dying to see her again.

I think she could have one of the most stunning voices around today, BUT, she needs to go for singing coaching to improve her range. I can't remember what song it is (but it's absolutely gorgeous) but she simply cannot reach the high notes. I was listening to it in the car last month for the first time and thought it was beautiful - the lyrics and melody, everything - then she was off on the high notes completely, made me shudder.

I have noticed that when she sings it live she takes those bits down an octave or two so it's not obvious which is a shame IMO as the song sounds better with them being up there.

She's got a wonderful soulfullness to her voice though that's seriously lacking in a lot of other performers at the moment and I'd still love to see her live as I've heard she's amazing.

Right the song I was thinking of was 'Someone Like You' and it's the original version, not live.

For me to see someone live, I would want not just a good voice but also a good performer. For what I have seen (on TV) of her live shows, she seems a bit boring. But I do like her music.

I got interested when I saw big articles on her in the heavy papers. Bought her 2 CDS Shes very goodI like paloma Faith too. Especially "the truth or somefing Beautiful" great song. I love Amy Ws "you know I,m No Good"
