To wonder which usernames on here

that have a distinctly nethuns feel to them are supposed to be ironic and which are meant seriously?

Before anyone starts, I know mine is shit, I couldn't think of one when I felt like NCing and at the time I did seem to be...constantly wrong, but I'm not talking about rubbish usernames, I'm talking about fluffy kiss kiss ones.

Not even having a dig - just generally look at them sometimes and wonder.

Sigh. I don't even know what nethuns means. Is it something like 'nether regions?' Stupid'R'Us....

(some of them are most funny. spent a minute in the shower trying to think of something witty but gave up)

It's netmums - think sparkles, tickers, "xxxxxx"es all over the show, "hugs" and "huns" scattered recklessly.

There are some cracking ones on here. I have been a member since 2004 and so and every now and then pop on, can't keep up, and leave it for a bit. Most recently, I came up with this crap name, because I figured "what the heck, I'll probably stop using it soon" and now I've been coming on for quite a bit longer as I am now in a workplace with a much more lax attitude to personal internet usage during work hours I've got a bit more free time, I don't want to be unrecognisable so people don't realise it's the same poster, but can't come up with anything better!

But yes, back the original query - does anyone else not wonder? Like SoupDragon's example - there are a few "FlufflyWuffysmummy234" type names on here at the moment, and I can't help but wonder if they're serious.

I was DelicateFluffyBunny for ages. I chose it just to annoy.

My sons nickname is Flump hence my user name. I didn't realise this would be frowned on til I chanced on a post when I first joined that was disparaging "cutesy" nicknames like mine.

Not frowning upon anything, or overthinking, or anything like that. Made it clear in the post that I wasn't disparaging and not having a go.

Just have seen ones before where the poster is clearly not the hugsandkissesandcuddles type but has a fluffy username and wondered if it was ironic, that's all. I only threw in the reference to netmums so as to explain the type of username I meant

nethuns is great word, i didnt know what it meant til..duh!

i use this site orf n on and the names have changed of course as they would but yeah fluffy unimaginative ones seem to be profilerate atm
