to not tip the supermarket delivery driver?

Just wondered...

A friend told me earlier that she tips the Tesco delivery man.

I have never tipped a supermarket delivery person. Am I a mean cow?

However, I do tip the bloke who delivers the Chinese takeaway.

And my hairdresser.

I never thought of doing this.

I too remember a thread -think it was about christmas time-and it was a big no-no to tip Tesco man. They could get into big trouble apparently.
So I have never tipped them,but on Christmas Eve a young guy came. He was lovely,and I said "look,I hear you can get in trouble for getting tips,i've just made some sausage rolls,would you like some?"
He was delighted! They were fresh out of the oven,said he wouldn't get a proper break that day,so they were spot on!

I tip anyone who has performed a personal service...so massage therapists, hairdressers, waiters, food delivery, taxis.

I sound like I eat out, travel in cabs and have beauty treatments regularly...but I don't!
