To be gutted that dd2 is settled in her cot

She's 11 months and like ds and dd1 we co-slept from the start. She's my last dc although I'm not so sure now. I always said we'd settle her in her cot once she stopped feeding every couple of hours overnight. Now she mostly sleeps from 9pm to about 6am and as this has been the case for a couple of weeks we've made the move. She had her last feed, I popped her in her cot and she just stretched out her arms and is completely happy and fast asleep. Now I have time to do stuff, spend time with DH knowing she's asleep, safe and sound.

:(

Ah, I know how you feel - dd2 (10 months) sometimes sleeps in her cot and I miss her and feel like she is so grown up. Other nights she is a total clingon and greedy guts (like now!) and I am desperate to be able to put her down without her waking and screaming instantly!

Aw, I know what you mean. I still let my two (five and seven) sleep in my bed though, as my husband works away a lot, just as a treat (so not most nights). I love having a snuggle, perhaps you can still working some early morning cuddles or the odd time she can come in there.
