My mum really did do this once. My aunt phoned her up and asked her if she'd like to go away for the week and she said yes, packed her bags then and there and off she went :-) Lands End, they went to.

Believe it or not, it took a day or two for my dad to ask us where she was and I nearly laughed out loud at his amazed face when we told him.
She came back so chilled and relaxed and it certainly changed my dad's attitude!

chimchar · 30/04/2011 17:34

Count me in. I drive a big car, so I'll do pick ups along the way......

HerRoyalHighnessPrincessCervix · 30/04/2011 17:43

justcall - can you not suddenly develop a handy bit of D&V and get isolated?

i fancy a bit of pampering, a nice beach, champagne Wine beer and cake and a couple of weeks without people demanding me all the bloody time, and some laughter.

JustCallMeGrouchy · 30/04/2011 17:47

no sadly theres no cubicles left and lol d&v hard when you have to wait 30 mins for the commode

anyway a nice beach and Wine sounds so much better and more fun bagsy the hammock oh and the waitor

HerRoyalHighnessPrincessCervix · 30/04/2011 17:50

i want someone to wait on me for a change. silently, anticipating my needs and not questioning my every move.
