Is this a fashion disaster, or AIBU?

It looks like a child's loo seat crossed with a carpet beater... Most definitely GUILTY!

It was a bit 'out there' imo, not something I would ever wear!

But, as my mother used to say 'It suits the wearer, not the starer!

welshbyrd · 29/04/2011 19:47

Jeez, sorry warraliberty Blush

Just got in from having a lovely family BBQ piss up, and to busy lazy to check if the "offending hat" had been discussed Grin

Love it! Love statement hats, though maybe one more for RA. I'd love it even more in less of a block colour and slightly less gappy. IMHO your outfit should be formal at such an occasion so if you are young and want to have a bit of fun and individualism with your hat, its all good.

welshbyrd · 29/04/2011 19:48

Nobody looking at her BTP? TBH i could not take my eyes off her, well not so much her, but the hat

OP posts:
Tidey · 29/04/2011 19:48

Bloody awful. Is that a real picture or have they done something to her face as well? It looks like it's been photoshopped to make her eyes and mouth weirdly distended. Someone needs to tell people either wear a hat on their head or not bother. This trend of assymetrical tat on foreheads has to stop.

heliumballoons · 29/04/2011 19:49

It reminds me of when we were kids and used to bang someones forehead with the palm of our hands and shout 'spam' Grin

Sorry but shes guilty and been spammed. [cgrin]

Hassled · 29/04/2011 19:49

The hat was odd, but what was odder was the explosion of eye liner. She just didn't know when to stop with the kohl this morning.

SpotsMumSally · 29/04/2011 19:52

It's Pan's Labyrinthesque.

FabbyChic · 29/04/2011 19:53

She is one ugly girl and looks like she could easily play the part in a horror movie with no make up at all.

welshbyrd · 29/04/2011 19:54

Looks like a bathroom mirror frame

Agreed, eye liner was terrible too, made her look like she had done 10 rounds with a Crayola

You FabbyChic are stunning and supermodel-esque yourself. Because you certainly aren't going anywhere on your kindness or manners...

DontGoCurly · 29/04/2011 20:00

@ FabbyChic what? [cshock]

I think she is super stunning!

Anyway, guilty for the hat. I actually liked the coat but it's far too old for her. But I do think she's a beautiful girl, I'm not a Royalist but I genuinely think she's gorgeous.

gilmoregirl · 29/04/2011 20:00

Ouch! I don't think it is fair to call her "ugly"

She is an attractive young girl. The hat is quite ridiculous but she is by no means ugly.

Poor girl

DontGoCurly · 29/04/2011 20:01

The hat reminds me of a jellyfish though!

atswimtwolengths · 29/04/2011 20:04

What I don't understand is why the two girls, knowing their mum has awful dress sense at times, don't take themselves off to a personal shopper at Harvey Nicks and put themselves in her hands.
