I've been away for the Easter weekend so haven't logged into Facebook since friday morning. On logging in just now, my friend's list seems to be depleted to the tune of six friends, one of them being my best mate's DH. When I've searched him under a name search, he doesn't appear, nor do two of my other friends.

I am really paranoid that I've inadvertently done something to piss everyone off and they've blocked me. I'm sure I haven't though. What's going on? :(

Maybe they have just deleted their FB accounts all together ?

I'm sure people won't be blocking you. They might have deactivated their accounts if they don't appear when you search for them?

Maybe they suspended their accounts because they've gone away for the two long weekends?

It sounds as if they've ditched FB, not dropped you particularly.

Oh god, that's a horrible feeling - and one of the reasons I'm thinking of deleting my FB account!

Actually, that might be what's happened. These people may just have decided to leave FB.... Could you ask your best friend?

Did you post anything that MIGHT be construed as controversial recently? Or even something that pisses people off but isn't offensive e.g. scare mongering emails or the 10000th picture of your dog?

How many is it down from, too? I only have 7 on my list, but that's because I've only logged in 4 times i think. i clearly don't appreciate it as much as some people! going down from 10 or 20 to 6 isn't that bad vs. if you had hundreds...

Loads of people are leaving facebook. I noticed there have been far fewer wall posts as well - or maybe I've pissed everyone off too!

No...it's a glich. Has happned to me. You should still see their updates tho

I don't really post controversial stuff. I avoid the copy and paste "if u don't repost this status about cancer u dont care about cancer lol"-type things and I don't post loads of pictures either.
