My FB news feed has just come up with this comment, from one male 'friend' to another:

"Whats the plan for tonight? Bring this girl back here. Pop open a bottle of chloroform. Insert tab A in slot b, repeat as necessary."

I don't know how / if to react, but may simply have to de-friend. Suggestions please.

'So you plan to be a rapist then?'

Then delete and block.

Gobshite wanker.

A1980 · 26/04/2011 23:30

it sounds like it isn't meant to be taken too seriously?

Although it's not funny, if he's a good friend you may not want to fall out over it. Perhaps just tell him it's distasteful etc.

whathow · 26/04/2011 23:30

Comments to people like that would be a total waste of time. De-friend immediately IMO.

changingmynameagain · 26/04/2011 23:30

You fuckwit.

And de-friend

nightowlmostly · 26/04/2011 23:31

Probably just a really bad joke. Really bad.

Is he young? I'd probably de-friend, just because he seems to be really immature with a terrible sense of humour!

LoopyLoopsNincompoop · 26/04/2011 23:32

30 ish. Old enough to know better.

OP posts:
Jonnyfan · 26/04/2011 23:32

"So you have to knock them out before you can score?"

wotnochocs · 26/04/2011 23:37

Very immature 30 yr old!.Unless he has been fraped!

xstitch · 26/04/2011 23:38

I like Jonny's reply, then deriend.

xstitch · 26/04/2011 23:39

That's defriend obviously.

millie30 · 26/04/2011 23:40

Defriend, but make sure you tell him why first!

LoopyLoopsNincompoop · 26/04/2011 23:41

'fraped' ugh, that's nearly as bad. Maybe I'm being over sensitive?

But Jonny's reply, then a but seriously + explanation... then defriend?

OP posts:
Vicky2011 · 26/04/2011 23:42

30?

Yup, de-friend.

Though not before writing something like Jonnyfan's comment Grin

reelingintheyears · 26/04/2011 23:44

PersonalClown has it right..

'Fraped' is revolting.

caramelwaffle · 26/04/2011 23:51

"So you plan on being a rapist? (local) police force might like to know this information. You obviously won't be hard to track down"

Then de-friend and block.

wotnochocs · 26/04/2011 23:53

Is drape offensive to you too? And what about grape, and I' look out onto a field full of rape

LoopyLoopsNincompoop · 26/04/2011 23:55

No, Hmm because none of those words make a mockery of the act of rape.

Surely you can see why that is offensive? Especially to someone who has been raped.

wotnochocs

What a stupid thing to compare to! 'F'rape is 'facebook rape'. It is highly offensive & makes a mockery of the word!

skybluepearl · 27/04/2011 05:01

meant as a joke but still very bad taste. can you say so?
