I was in ELC yesterday and noticed a little game. There were only 2 left and both boxes were really scuffed (really stood out as the rest of the store was very neat)

I had a look at both, the actual product was spoilt in one box. I took the other one (with the perfectly fine product) and asked for a discount because the box was scuffed. Got 10% off after they checked the stock room and found they had no others left.

I know to most people that is nothing but I am really shy and not very assertive so I'm quite chuffed. AIBU?

Well done, you

You know what they say - you don't ask, you don't get!!

No, not unreasonable.

If it is not in your nature to speak up it can be really, really hard.

Well done Smile

Yanbu

It is really nice to feel empowered when usually a shy person and even more when you get a bargain out of itGrin

I wouldnt have asked for discount for a scuffed box to be honest if the contents were fine, but fair play if you got one. :)
