and just think about how nice and aware we are now of elephant welfare and dumbo probably is to thank for that

That song is my DS's song. It always makes me cry.
Its just a cartoon but it reflects real issues about attitudes to special children in society.

Just the thought of it brings a lump to my throat

YANBU at all. It's a very emotive part.

YADNBU, I cry at that very same part every time, and it happens to be one of DS's favourite films (thanks to his gran, not me!) so I need to watch it with him quite a lot and always end up bubbling.

YANBU majority of the older Disney films makes me cry, can't really watch them anymore, just hope DC never want to watch Bambi!!!!
