To have cried about failing...

my driving theory test! I hashed up the hazard awareness bit but got 100% on the questions bit. I clicked too many times for the first clip (so scored 0) and then got all hesitant about clicking again too many times so clicked late.

I burst into tears as soon as dp picked me up. I really need to be able to drive as going back to work soon and worry about the nursery needing to come pick up ds and not being able.

Plus they don't show you your clips again so I don't know how early I can click! Another £30-odd down the drain :(

YANBU. Good luck for next time.

I did the same!!!!!!!!!!

100% on questions then failed on the clicking, I cried too!!

K999 · 15/04/2011 16:54

Oh poor you! Do you have the practice DVD? I got this and it's a good way of knowing when you can click....

Grabaspoon · 15/04/2011 16:57

I nearly cried when I failed my practical with 4 minors, perfect manouveres but another driver caused me to have a serious mark!! :(

JaneS · 15/04/2011 16:58

Oh no! I hate that test - it is so ridiculously easy to fail by clicking too much!

QueenStromba · 15/04/2011 17:13

Definitely get yourself a practice DVD - I got this one and did really well in the test.

MalkieFraser · 15/04/2011 18:00

You NEED the DVD or a CD ROM. The hazard perception part of the test is little to do with hazard perception and more to do with jumping through the DVLA's ridiculous hoops. Good luck next time.

Sorry for the delay! Thanks so much - good advice about the DVD just dp thought it was expensive (although less dear than having to resit the test I suppose!).

I just thought that it was ridiculous - if I failed the questions then I would know what areas I did crap in and just revise harder. But this way is just rubbish I could have exactly the same test and still fail. Wah!!
