We're waiting to move into a new build house, should be ready in a couple of months and it seems like everything is going wrong! The washer/dryers leaked in the kitchen damaging the flooring and the cookers on the blink - I don't want to spend money repairing/replacing these items when we're moving !!! Angry

That is called sods law. As soon as you give away something which you have two of the original will break.

YANBU-when we sold our last house and were waiting to complete, both the boiler and the built in cooker blew upAngry So had to spend over a thousand pounds on a house that was no longer ours 3weeks later!

That is bad luck Hmm
I'm sure the house knows we're leaving and is getting its revenge !!
