Had a rough few months - new baby, been burgled, mum has just died. Thought would be nice to MIL and order flowers and chocolates online. Used famous flower company Intermoran only to be told that cannot alter address if wrong so 21.99 lost. Then order hamper of chocolates from mortons only for that not to turn up - this was right address. MIL - not happy so did not call DP - only found out today. Just not fair on a 71 year old and I feel sad.

Sorry to hear you've had a rough time recently.

Please pursue it with their customer service department re the hamper. Don't let them get away with it.

Yes, i would feel sad too. Did you have home insurance, when you were burglared?

YouaretooniceNOT · 12/04/2011 23:31

burgled

burgulary all sorted - the car got nicked and was written off. Luckily hubby was asleep down stairs so they did not get anything from living rooms. Been caught as thick burglars. mortons were ok intermoran cannot contact couriers once the order has gone out - obviously they have to use smoke signals to communicate !

Hi,

So sorry you have been having a rough time lately.

With regards to the hamper, I work for a delivery company and they are talking out of their bottoms when they say they cant talk to the couriers once they have sent the parcel...like they are just going to hand it over without being able to find out where it is! I would try and find out who they sent it with and then speak to that company and see if they have any record of it and see if you get any joy that way.

Hope you manage to resolve it x

Am sure they will offer something, although I understand the annoyance & disappointment. They failed to deliver some sympathy flowers once on my behalf & then did eventually but offered a full refund. Sorry you've had a run of shitty stuff happen.

cheers for you kind comments. Cancelled order with intermorans and we booked flowers with local florist - mortons say hamper should arrive today.
You have to be so nasty these days to get stuff done properly
