Go other places. It's good fun but they're all ever so irritable on here - "aibu to be annoyed at other people breathing the same air as me?" Chat can be funny

YABU. It seems like most people start in AIBU but once you go elsewhere you will find your real home, oh grasshopper. I still lurk here at times but my spiritual home is chat.

Also after a while the AIBU topics start to repeat themselves, a bit like the contents of the gossip magazines.

I'm newish also and have only ventured (aside from here) to the classics forum (that was a late night) and the Feminist/Womens' rights. The latter was prompted by a thread in AIBU. I had a peek, trembled a little bit, then bolted.

At the top ^ under Mumsnet there are two lines... Topics and Threads

Click on 'Most active' in Threads.

That way you get all the busiest threads and way more diversity.

I never use the topics sections, much livelier to just dip in and out of most active.

You have to be in the mood for AIBU I think.

Mind you I spend most of my time on the chat threads, that interspersed with feminism, AIBU and whatever else takes my fancy.

I haven't hidden any threads, as I have FOMO

I only use here, chat and general health, have no need to go elsewhere i am plenty entertained as it is! :o
