I'd never had any before so I picked some up this morning. I'm home alone with DD, it's a glorious day but as I still have dogs to walk and the lawn to now I can't really sit outside because she's too little for lots of sun. So I've poured myself a lunchtime drink and put some bets on the National. Am I a terrible mother? Grin

Celebration of summer - you have to do it - it might be the only day we get!

oxocube · 09/04/2011 12:50

Sounds blissful. Wish I could join you Grin

cubbie · 09/04/2011 12:54

hey, good for you!! Enjoy! Wish I could join you haha!

Am hoping to maybe get a chance to do sometjhing similar later on when my DH is home. My wonderful, fab, fantastic mum and dad are on their way here with a big trampoline for my 2 ds, age 2 and 4.

They've been jumping on my neighbour's and I thought I'd look into getting them one. I'm looking forward to SITTING DOWN while they are bouncing safely!

Have a good day! (am feeling full of the joys of spring!!!)

AuraofDora · 09/04/2011 13:01

yabu, where's mine?..

bronze · 09/04/2011 13:02

Gosh no. Glad I bought some for ds3s christening now as I am now going to pour myself one. I blame you Grin

bronze · 09/04/2011 13:04

lazylula · 09/04/2011 13:07

YABVU! (Only because you have made me want one and I can't for at least another 4 weeks!)

washnomore · 09/04/2011 13:13

Right - I have the cucumber, the mint and the strawberries...tonight it is Pimms a'clock. Lovely summery drink and I never drink it the rest of the year! There is fruit in it so it is terribly good for you.

(Who am I kidding?)

MikeRotch · 09/04/2011 13:54

your apostrophe is wrong
and its a shite drink

washnomore · 09/04/2011 13:56

Mike. It's Pimm's who've got their apostrophe wrong. But thanks Hmm

There are few things worse than botched pedantry.

OP posts:
Punkatheart · 09/04/2011 14:02

.....and I didn't even use an apostrophe....is that the literary equivalent of not wearing any knickers?

It's a lovely drink. Excellent for improving mood and the perception of apostrophes. Have more that one and wheeeee, who cares!

EggyAllenPoe · 09/04/2011 14:05

YANBU, we had Pimms last night.

YABu if you haven't got nice lemonad to mix it with though.

grovel · 09/04/2011 14:06

washnomore, nice one!

grovel · 09/04/2011 14:07

Your comment to Mike, I mean. The OP's pretty good too.

washnomore · 09/04/2011 14:10

And on the subject of apostrophes, you might try inserting one yourself Mike before pointing out imaginary failings in my ability to use the English language correctly :)

OP posts:
NinkyNonker · 09/04/2011 14:16

Hmmm, pimms.

Kallista · 09/04/2011 14:16
