some posts are a bit "la la"

Ok, I may be being a bit mean on here, but some posts are so bloody stupid I literally click and then click of thinking "oh ffs is that all you have to worry about". What about the serious stuff? "What about the really silly stuff that you can have a joke with"..

Then you have "you are a troll" and 22 pages later it appears that the OP was actually asking for help and was telling the truth.... So predictable its getting boring. Some interesting posts are needed in AIBU..

minus the cake of course, maybe that is another topic that I cannot find a cake symbol on here.........

what searing contemporary topics have you chosen to discuss op
other than your la-la?

everthebeliver · 09/04/2011 00:57

Usual: no offence taken, no offence given: Easy thread about how people can talk la la on here. Maybe I am to harsh who knows. I have enough shit to deal with day to day and come on here to deal with real stuff....... So yes I admit IABU.... No issues to deal with.... no dead husbands under the floorboards (have had two over the years that have not gone over seven, that is another AIBU in itself) very lighthearted there ha ha.. xx

It's easy to pass judgement on general posts on the internet, but everyone's got their own reasons for being here and posting what they do, and not one of them is more or less valid than the next post/thread.

Is it better to be married or not married have you found everthebeliever?

everthebeliver · 09/04/2011 01:10

usual: it is good to be cool :)
Agent: I am not passing judgement on any posts, I come on mumsnet to chat etc. I am not in a position to judge anyones life. All I was saying that there are some posts that I think "Omg why would you worry about free range eggs etc"
Personal opinion that is all.
Changing the subject: Hey it is going to be a sunny weekend hope everyone enjoys it :)

jsut realised i posted a thread about a thread again OMG sorry :(((

But saying you think some threads/posts are not worthy of being posted is judging.

I don't fret about free range eggs, but I can understand why someone would.

Plus, the reasons why some are posting aren't always written in the text they post.

everthebeliver · 09/04/2011 01:28

Agent: This was so meant to be a light post and it is obviously going wrong. I very rarely judge people on here, like I said I have my own crap to deal with. (not serious enough to post on here btw)
I posted with no malice intended, I posted with no judging intended. It was a lighthearted thread that I will not lose sleep over.

I was not saying posts were not worthy I was saying that some were little "la la land" and the post was in the nicest possible way.

:)

Lighthearted?

I think you have to give a nod and a wink for people to know?

I'd hate to see you getting tooled up for a fight on here if that's your lighthearted OP Grin

Scrub that actually, I'd love it, who am I trying to kid Grin
