To think Dd should just go to sleep!

DD is 2.11. she's usually pretty good at bedtimes, but now and again she goes through a phase of not sleeping

Last night she went to bed at 10pm and now she is screaming the house down cos I've put her to bed at normal time (7.30) thankfully DS can sleep through a bomb going off so it isn't bothering him

Why can't she just go to sleep? Her screaming is driving me demented but if I go up to soothe her she tells me she doesn't want me :( DH is working late so can't help

She doesn't nap in the day anymore either

YANBU, I'm having this problem too. DS is 2.9 and with the light evenings and him having chest infection at the moment, he won't settle. Driving me mad that a few weeks ago he was going to bed by 7pm so I had the evening to myself, and now I'm desperate for my bed before he is!

Sorry you're going through this too Millie. DD was doing really well too, going to bed and straight to sleep, and sleeping through no problem

at least with you're DS, he has a reason. DD is just sat on her bedroom floor, yelling! She isn't even crying, just making a lot of noise :( Going to go and return her to bed for about the 20th time

my sympathies girls. am going through the same thing with my 2.9 ds, he has a bad cough, wakes up several times a night and will only settle with me and dp in our bed (which we both dislike). to top this, my seven month old ds is teething and wakes 3 times a night and only goes back off after some booby. happy times...........

:( tifflins

DD is finally in bed, and quiet. She isn't asleep yet, but think she will go off this time. Had to sit with her for a good while to calm her down, wish I could bring myself to make her cry herself to sleep, but don't think thats ever going to happen, she's cried for over 2 hours tonight, and was close to vomiting :(

Hope both you ladies get your DC settled soon, and they're not causing too much drama for you
