I have 12 week scan today DH wants to film it on his phone
I said no it's an important appointment to determine health of baby and don't want to look stupid!
They'll give us a pic anyway if all is well.
AIBU or is he

Film it on his phone? Why? When's he going to watch it? He seems the type to want to film the birth too eh? I'd tell him that it's a nice idea but that you don't want the added stress of being filmed as it's not good for the baby!

Cant see the problem. Apart from mobiles are not usually allowed to be on in most parts of a hospital.

He's excited - but there's no point filming it tbh. Just be happy with the picture. neither of you being unreasonable - he's just being a little bit OTT

We already have 1DC he wanted to film that scan too just likes to see baby moving which pic doesn't do.
Scan will be in health centre not hospital so mobiles are allowed.
I didn't let him film DS scan either.
Told him if he wants to pay for 4d scan he'll get a DVD knowing he's too tight haha.
No birthing videos here not a chance!!!

He could film the scan monitor, and not film you.

I just thought the sonigrapher would see him and think he's a few buns short of a picnic
I don't imagine many people filming a scan

If you don't want to you don't want to. We wanted to video ours but the sonogropher wouldn't let us :(
