MN flares?

Just wondering what the B&S afficionadists thought about the MN Angels' apparel in the logo?

Are the flares too dated, or am I showing my amateur BS status by not cittoning on to the fact that they are actually bellbottoms and completely on trend?

They look the shape of bright green nylon shit flickers my friends mum used to wear long after they were fashionable (if bright green was ever fashionable).

I've never been into clothes, but even I inwardly cringed for her.

I've got no idea whether YABU or not, I'd say not, just for the fact you've said 'completely on trend' and therefore sound a bit poncy and as though you know what you're on about Smile

I'm not sure but then I vaguely thought the logo was a spider for about a year (2006-2007 - pregnant and then with newborn DS) without really wondering why...

I thought it was a post-modern nod to Charlie's Angels - bottles as guns etc - but I might be a bit 'Baileys'-eyed!

I think maybe some of you ladies aren't old enough (unlike me unfortunately!) to remember the original Charlie's Angels series back in the 70s with Farrah Fawcett etc. I think the logo is a take on the logo for that programme. If you can find a picture of it anywhere see what you think. If I am correct in my assumption, I think you will agree the Mumsnet one is very good!

Thanks AnotherFineMess, thinking like me! I didn't see yours before I typed!

Yep, definitely styled on Charlie's AssKickers.
