He usually picks up the kids from school on a Tuesday & brings them back after tea. He just called to say school phoned him & after school club isn't on , can we pick up?

Dh sets off to walk (10 mins away) and as he is leaving the phone rings again , xh says 'can you drop them at mine?'(10 mins the other side)

Dh has now gone for the car as he doesn't want to walk 40 min the rain.

AIBU to be annoyed xh didn't go himself?

Does XH have a car? Maybe he isn't able to get to the school on time, without more information you do sound A bit U

He is same distance as us but in opposite direction so plenty of time to walk. We assumed he was at work at first but then wanted dds dropping at his.
