To be very upset when my contribution to a thread gets deleted?

Depends what you said.

louloudia · 02/04/2011 21:58

i like it, makes me snigger lol

BoysAreLikeDogs · 02/04/2011 22:00

did you contravene guidelines, personal attack, that kind of thing?

dexifehatz · 02/04/2011 22:00

I only used one swear word.If the use of one swear word means my opinion is deleted then that's outrageous considering some of the thread titles on here!Angry

i've never been naughty enough to be deleted. i'm a nice, good, sweet, angelic type.

EvenLessNarkyPuffin · 02/04/2011 22:01

'We don't allow personal attacks'

You can swear as much as you like.

Bohica · 02/04/2011 22:01

Ohh what did you write??

Hoping I get to read it before it gets deleted again

howlonguntiltheweekend · 02/04/2011 22:01

I always feel Blush when my posts get deleted. I've always been so good.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 02/04/2011 22:02

I have found that some swear words can result in deletion, cunt in partic

AtYourCervix · 02/04/2011 22:02

dpeends who objected.

for example

'dexi is a flaming cunt' might be construed as a touch offensive and if you report it as a personal attack MNHQ will delete it.

or if you are a more rational normal type you could call me a cunt back and walk away.

No,I don't believe I did personally attack anyone.'Winter' was on having a ruck with someone, but not me.

If your swear word was AT someone, then that's probably why it was deleted.

Or if your swear word was one that was offensive racially or otherwise.

I do wish they wouldn't delete it when people bitch at one another. It doesn't change the fact that it was said. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd certainly much rather read what someone has actually put because then I can decide if they were justified or if they're a nasty twat talking shit. 'message deleted by mumsnet' doesn't allow you to get a feel for someone.
