both of us felt sick and couldnt watch, dp asked me to put it to you... as we found it completely shocking and couldnt beleive it existed let alone shown on a bbc channel!

Yes, have seen it before.

Odd

gapbear · 01/04/2011 21:48

That is awful. What kind of person thinks it's OK to do that???? Angry

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns · 01/04/2011 21:49

its called baby yoga and the baby is swung around quite roughly

Mahraih · 01/04/2011 21:49

Aha, I've seen this!

Yes, it looks horrific doesn't it. The baby seems fine though. Although, you have to wonder how you train a novice to do baby yoga. With some sort of doll?!

louloudia · 01/04/2011 21:49

can you give a precis for those of us who dont want to click

twinkytonk · 01/04/2011 21:49

I've seen that clip before and I think it's awful.

gapbear · 01/04/2011 21:51

A two week old baby being flung about in the name of 'baby yoga'. By one limb sometimes, twisted round, over her head, all really really quickly.

CaptainKirksNipples · 01/04/2011 21:52

I heart Russell Howard!

Thats disgusting abusing a baby like that. Its nothing like yoga, well the yoga i do with a certified yoga instructer.

Figgyrolls · 01/04/2011 22:00

Didn't have the sound on, but quite frankly that is not normal. DH just said so too..........

CheerfulYank · 01/04/2011 22:01

It certainly doesn't look safe! Babies are meant to be cuddled, not flung around like flour sacks.

EricNorthmansMistress · 01/04/2011 22:01

It's one of the weirdest things I've seen in a while. Just why??? Baby 'yoga'? Babies don't need yoga! It's absurd and clearly dangerous and they are extremely lucky that the child suffered no ill effects. Totally bizarre.

fit2drop · 01/04/2011 22:01

Looks like one of those lifelike dolls to me {shrugs}

porcamiseria · 01/04/2011 22:09

its a doll

twinkytonk · 01/04/2011 22:12

There are other vids with children that you can tell are real. I have always been unsure if the one in the op's link is real or not.

squeakytoy · 01/04/2011 22:12

Its not real.

I doubt its real.

skaen · 01/04/2011 22:31

I thought 'baby yoga' was for babies over 6 months when they love being thrown around (not that I've seen the clip). DS has spent most of the last few days begging to be carried upside down...
