I love "I can cook" but I think that they need to do something about the songs. They are just cringeworthy. Does anyone else agree? My son who is 2 could make up something better!

They are awful and she can't even sing so it makes it worse.

Songs? You call them songs?

The songs are almost as bad as the dishes.

They make me laugh. I think they are deliberately poor aren't they?

Awful program - dd loves it though Hmm.

Blasted woman is in our shopping centre this month and someone has told dd, so I'm going to have to take her. Maybe I'll get a live rendition, double Hmm!

Yes I thought they must be deliberately bad too. Harassed - maybe she will be doing a Q&A session and you could ask her a) not to sing b) why the songs are so bad.

That one is ok but the ones about the food that they have just made are all terrible without exception. The worst thing is that I have one in my head right now and it won't go away.

She doesn't sing in the second series so I think peoples' hatred of the sings has been taken on board.

Doesn't grate with me too much.

What really makes me see red are the songs from 'Big Cook, Little Cook'. Total shite, especially the cleaning up song where they try to fit too many words in.

Caaaaaaaaaaaaan't stand Katie - is it just me or does she come across as being a teeny bit smug Hmm

(tbh it's inane jealousy on my part there's no way I could keep a kitchen that clean, cook and look after a load of kids without needing a bottle one of these Wine)

I know it's just a show but grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

"cooking is fun but it can get mucky so put your apron on to stop your clothes getting yucky" Arghhh! It's not just the songs it's the stupid expressions and noises that are so cringe worthy! YADNBU

I find Katy smug too and I'm relieved DS no longer watches. I knew she must be bad when my MIL said she thought she was delightful - urgh!!

Yanbu, apart from the handwashing song they're awful and katy is really self-conscious and slightly insincere, especially the bits with the dull factual clips after which she says " that was SO interesting!"

We've done lots of the sweet recipes and they've almost all been minging!
