My threads gone? My threads gone?

Mumsnet? My thread has gone? Why? It had been running for days and no one seemed to have a problem with it, and i have no message to say why its gone?

I wrote about asking for help, for votes to win a wedding? Does anyone remember it?
I can't find it, can anyone, or can anyone from HQ tell me what happened?

I have no clue but if you're asking MN, why don't you contact them through the proper channels? (I have no idea what they are though)

I saw your thread a few days ago, it didn't seem any different to all the other "vote for me" threads. Maybe they've decided to delete them all.

There was a message the other day saying that all these "vote for me" threads were being deleted, sorry. I expect it just took them a day or so to notice yours.

To be fair Cookie I've been a member of a few forums where that sort of thing got a bit out of control.

In the end you had to wade through them all just to get to a normal topic...and then advertisers would start spamming too.

I can understand why there are rules against this sort of thing.

I agree with scottishmummy. I would certainly not vote on principle if someone wasted my time posting on here. In fact, I might even go on the site and vote for one of the competitors. If everyone did it, MN would be really dull because it would be cluttered up with vote for me posts.
