To hate pack lunches

AARRRHHHH I hate pack lunches, whatever I pack they seem so boring, I dont like to put sweet things in, just the occasional treat but after doing them for 2 years I'm done with it, although I'm not switching to school dinners because they are a bit pricey.

I tend to do sandwich, 2 pieces of fruit, yoghurt, sometimes a treat - biscuit, cereal bar etc, oh and sometimes a cheese stick.
About once or twice a week I do a cold pasta type thingy.

Whats in your pack lunch?

Ragwort what a lovely thing to say, thank you!

We have been together 11 years and have been through a lot together and he is just so good to me. Knowing he is enjoying his lunch and doesn't have to bother sorting his own (during very rushed lunch hours often) is the least I can do for the lad. I get much joy out of concocting things for his lunch too. I am a childminder (big career change 4 yrs ago) and enjoy trying different recipes for the kids etc. too.

It's the little things that count.

I put some sausages in today (leftover from last night0 and he had chocolate spread sarnie for 'pud'. I have been doing them for 1.5... WEEKS!!! (But I am not bored yet). Crackers and cheese. Raisins. Carrot sticks. Cherry tomatoes. Popcorn (that's a good one for a Friday treat since crisps not allowed). Flapjack. Breadsticks. Small pot of cashew nuts. Yoghurt.

Obv this is not all in one lunch! Vary as to what we have in the house and what I think he is going to eat. (He needs to eat or he misbehaves which is why I put him on packed lunch even though are school dinners are FREE!)

Phewee. I mean 'our school dinners are free' and I have been doing packed lunches for 1.5 weeks, not putting sausages in packed lunch for 1.5 weeks!
