No, YANBU sometimes it's very difficult to think of an appropriate topic. When I did my MSc what I found particularly tricky was getting a subject that neatly fit the time boundaries, whereas I could think of some quite large 5 year research projects!!

MSc Diabetes management

Ooooh, my DP is diabetic. Type 1 with a pump. If you need any research people, I'm sure he'd take part. He hasn't got a glucose monitor though.

Im going to try to avoid ethics so am going for a systematic review.
Everythings been done though.

You don't have to do something thats never been done, just a different angle on the same stuff. Can you combine 2 things into one for a novel approach?

Oh the story of my MA was not knowing what to write essays on. I'd never had so much choice before and frankly I just couldn't hack it. I was so conditioned to picking one from a list!

Brainstorm all the topics you've covered this year, and different theories and see if ayou lean towards any of them.

Get a list of all the dissertation titles from the last 5 years. Might give you some inspiraton.

Talk to a tutor that you have some kind of bond with. They might be able to suggest something.

The main problem is that there are no previous ones..its a new course. And Ive only done 1 module prior to this . Quite difficult.
