to get down to the nitty gritty. Have any of you found that the class thing can divide families? One a uni-type the other chavish

I know a fringe royal married a commoner; but I have not heard of her since.

Broadly speaking the figures show we generally marry within our class. (If we marry at all , these days)

Hmm my dad's very working class northern family laugh at my Surrey accent. That's as far as it's gone.

happiestblonde Whatevever you do, stick with that "organic veg box."

I must get round to reading the ruddy article.

Abel and Cole. Cannot say enough good things and I've learnt to cook salsify.

thanks Belled, I located the article from your reference

Did it ring true? Yes she was telling the truth as she saw it. She
would never make a politician. (Think "Cleggy" with his Mike on)

All we can expect from writers is that they tell us the truth as they see it.

All the rest on this subject is a matter of opinion. (We posters have shown that)

I wonder what class the Queens corgis are?

BlooferLady · 25/03/2011 15:54

I know someone who was brought up in a stately home and broke her leg badly out skiing. She's so ashamed of the real reason behind the spectacular scar on her leg she tells people it's from a car crash Grin.

I own a piano and have several degrees but the next person who calls me middle class is getting a black eye. I've never been skiing and I couldn't give a shit what people think of my kitchen work surfaces. Slightly tenuous class definitions there bit it'll do me nicely thanks.

where is wandsworth?

GabbyLoggon · 25/03/2011 16:20

In greater London Onlion, unless it has moved.

Bloofer, I like the broken leg gag.

The Corgis are Upper Wuffer Class. (have their own flush toilet)
