dh thinks it is hysterically funny to have put up posters by the urinals of pretty, cleavaged women who appear to be peering over their glasses at the manhood peeing.
I find it fairly unfunny; demeaning to women; demeaning to any man who has impotence or problems; sexist; demeaning to those in the medical proffession etc.....

I am a little prudish at times but I think this kind of humour is sexist and archaic.
He is now in a foul strop with me......and I with him. Sad as I am cooking his favourite supper.

lol

DaydreamDollyisshrinking · 22/03/2011 20:09

You have urinals at home??

jazz412 · 22/03/2011 20:09

I think it's quite funny...

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 22/03/2011 20:10

It's just a juvenile joke, isn't it? Can't get worked up really.

Alouiseg · 22/03/2011 20:11

Apparently it helps their aim!

IreneHeron · 22/03/2011 20:12

I think it's a bit grim and pathetic tbh. Not clever and not particularly funny.

defineme · 22/03/2011 20:17

Where are the urinals?

I'd be well pissed off with dh for this. I like to think of dh as a reasonably sophisticated and intellctual man. Not an immature prat. Dh also works with me, lots of other women and lots of young girls. Hugely disrespectful to them if this was anywhere in their workplace.

saffy85 · 22/03/2011 20:18

Is it worth getting into a huff over? really? Hmm Agree, it doesn't sound hilarious but it's not the most offensive poster your DH could tape to the wall.

DaydreamDollyisshrinking · 22/03/2011 20:22

To be honest, I think it's pathetic, childish and would make me look at my DH as if he was an alien if he had done this. I don't care about it being sexist (sorry) I would care about it being juvenile and a bit weird.
But seriously - where are the urinals??!

Bit stupid and childish but not worth a full on strop and argument! Unless you pee at said urinals (I assume you run a pub?) then let it go!

Skinit · 22/03/2011 20:26

Urinals? Where? YANBU btw. Change them for BIG posters of sumo wrestlers etc

iamkirsty · 22/03/2011 20:31

You mean like this?

joydivisionovengloves · 22/03/2011 20:34

I think it's quite amusing in a childish kind of way, Definitely not worth getting stressed about!

DramaInPyjamas · 22/03/2011 20:42

I've seen these posters in those unisex nightclub toilets. Meh, wouldn't bother me - childish and not that funny tbh.

Skinit · 22/03/2011 20:47

Change them for this

MrIC · 22/03/2011 21:07

they are sexist and demeaning to women - you're not being unreasonable

M44 · 22/03/2011 21:07

He is in an extremely responsible position- these are in the urinals at his work place.

OP posts:
M44 · 22/03/2011 21:08

iamkirsty- yes those pictures......

OP posts:
ajandjjmum · 22/03/2011 21:10

It's just a joke - they look pretty funky loos to be fair!

M44 · 22/03/2011 21:11

I'm sorry- just don't get it. Fine if you are 19 not when you are older and in a position of responsibility.

OP posts:
georgie22 · 22/03/2011 21:13

Can't really see what the fuss is? It's not funny but I'm not offended or demeaned by it.

Just wondering why it's demeaning to the medical profession?

MotherNight · 22/03/2011 21:13

Don't like them, looks like they're taking a piss up those women. Confused

AyeRobot · 22/03/2011 21:14

I don't think even more cock worship images are needed, are they?

I'm with you M44.

ajandjjmum · 22/03/2011 21:22

But M44, did your dh personally put them up? How is he responsible for them?
