Do you eat your crusts first?

it depends on if there's any fat in the dough - usually there isn't, so it would act as filling carbs.

I do not eat the bastard crusts.

I eat the top half of the sandwich first then down one side, then all the crust so that I have a chunk of non crust sandwich left. The crust is the worst so I like to have a non crusty bit left.

I eat the crusts first, because I stupidly still believe in that curly hair myth. I eat them, then work my way around the rest until I finish with the perfect last bite. There's an art form to it.

I don't eat the crusts on pizza unless very hungry/desperate/there's a major pizza shortage. Again, end with the perfect last bite, with lots of toppings.

What I don't understand is people who don't like pizza with too much cheese - surely such a thing is impossible?

always first - sandwiches or toast. specially nice it the filing is something squidgy, the bites sort of seal the squidgy filling in. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Never ever eat the crusts, though I did when ds was little to show him A Good Example.
He likes them btw and always eats them. I give mine to the dog.

If I intend to eat all of something, I will save the best bits for last.

So I might eat crusts first. Or not at all. If I am at the end with just a bit of hard crust it's unlikely that I will eat it.

i don't eat bread. OH hates "fluffy" British bread and if faced with it will remove the fluffy inner completely and only eat the outside (crust). he prefers middle eastern style flat bread.

As to crows.. one came down the chimney at the museum I worked at. I was there in the evening by myself and the bastard walked right next to the CCTV camera...the monitor was on my desk and I nearly wet myself thinking that some giant alien ghost bird had invaded the building (which was a really old building, in my defence). It took about 25 minutes of me shoving at it with a 19th century farm implement for it to vacate the building, leaving me with about a bucket full of crow cack to clear up. Oh and I was on the CCTV too, doing all of this, to my colleagues' delight the next day.

Usually I eat the crusts first on a sandwich as the rest is tastier. And toast too.
