the one where the terribly middle class parents, who you just KNOW would normally take their offspring on a yurt building holiday or somesuch, break the ohsodelightful news to the kids that they're going to Shitneyland and they run around screaming with 'joy'.

i shudder every time i see it.

This is one of the many reasons why it's BBC, DVDs or the hard drive here.

The other reason is that I can never remember when programs are really on, so end up downloading them as a series, but shhh...

We're gradually introducing 4yo DD1 to the idea that silly adverts are trying to make you buy things you don't need, becuase she still comes across them, but she doesn't need the repitition of those messages every day in her own home, and I certainly don't! (Because I have no self control and would buy everything)
