Watching this advertising makes me wonder what kind of world we live in today? Is this really appropriate?
Advertising wine using 2 small children and a very high open window.....?

I was expecting to see children sat on a window ledge quaffing a glass of red...

BuzzLiteBeer · 08/03/2011 10:49

Oh the horror, they aren't covered head to toe in cotton wool with blindfolds on!

Hmm
manicbmc · 08/03/2011 10:55

I am horrified that those children have been allowed to abuse wine like that. Shock

How would they like it if I went and threw their fruitshoots out of the window? Grin

Becd01 · 08/03/2011 11:21

Hahaha! so I am being a little unreasonable then?

Does look as if no wine was hurt in the making of this film...

So long as the wine was unharmed. Grin

PrettyCandles · 08/03/2011 11:28

Grin I liked that! Reminds me of the sort of mayhem experiments my brother and I used to get up to.

HerbWoman · 08/03/2011 11:32

I liked the way they actually put it away when they had finished with it.

I think this subject has been taken too lightly. Surely there are rules about advertising alcohol with children?? I for one agree with Becd01. If my kids saw this ad they'd be straight in to my wine - and I can tell you right now. It doesn't bounce! But tbh I am particularly horrified at the age of those children near such a high open window!!
How can you be so flippant about this?

PrettyCandles · 10/03/2011 18:52

Then don't show them the ad.

Put your wine out of their reach.

Or even (wow - extraordinary notion!) teach them that they may not touch your wine without your permission.

I haven't looked because Easties is on and I'm trying figure out what the hell Jane is playing at. But, aren't we supposed to get our children drunk at home to take away the novelty of it and reduce the chances of them getting drunk outside? I think the younger the better
