I am DEFINITELY not pregnant. Test says no. Periods have of late been between the 4th and 10th of month.

You aren't pregnant, the tests are reliable.

Stress and outside factors can cause periods to be late.

BitOfFun · 06/03/2011 14:11

I am not seeing anything pregnancy-related, but I am predicting some ridicule from strangers which you will brass out and emerge wiser from.

HTH Wink

BitOfFun · 06/03/2011 14:12

Or,

How the fuck do we know?

Catnao · 06/03/2011 14:15

Alright, alright! Grin Guess I was hoping for someone to say "Well, you still could be" or something. Clearly I'm not. On the plus side, trying isn't that bad, I guess.

Not sure, let me check my pregnancy radar Hmm

It really annoys me when people post these. If you are wondering if you are pregnant do a test. If you still think you are pregnant after a negative test wait 2 weeks and do another one. If thats still negative and you still think its wrong see your bloody GP.

Reading your post on the internet isnt going to make someone suddenly know if you are pregnant or not!! We arent a bunch of human friggin pregnancy tests and fertility monitors!!

Catnao · 06/03/2011 14:18

No, alright! I am being ridiculous, I know, and I am over 17....I just really hoped I would be. Still, never mind.

And someone MIGHT have more experience of early ones than me, maybe. The last time I was very pregnant before I noticed tested.

I have a regular as clockwork cycle. A few months back, my period was a week late. I tested 3 times to check - not pg. But I had had the Evil Virus From Hell in that month so I think that threw me out. Period came exactly a week late and continued as clockwork.
Odd.

AlfalfaMum · 06/03/2011 14:19

Jeez, steady on Missy, who ate your cake? Hmm

You still could be op, sometimes the hormones aren't strong enough to show up a positive until you're properly late. But if not, have fun trying!

Ilovethedoctor · 06/03/2011 14:22

I tested multiple times and got negatives and didn't test positive til I was 6 weeks pregnant!

Catnao · 06/03/2011 14:23

Thanks AlfafaMum. Well, hey ho - sorry if thread was annoying but I think I had talked myself into it this time and therefore was ignoring the bleeding obvious hoping maybe it was too early.

I guss the answer is yes, I am being unreasonable! Smile

Or even, guess.

Missymorrison87 · 06/03/2011 14:35

Sorry, that sounded unessicarily mean of me :( I didn't actually consider what you had said before jumping on my angry emotion (and this is a woman who intends to study medicine! Biscuit )

How late are you? I tested positive really early at about 2-3 weeks, yet my friend has tested negative just after a missed period, then it turned out the month after, after her second missed period she was in fact pregnant!

Its always a possibility, but dont get your hopes up, relax and have fun trying! It took 9 months of fun and drunken nights before our positive! 4 months on and i'm only just starting to enjoy pregnancy :(

Catnao · 06/03/2011 14:56

Thanks, Missy. I AM being a bit stupid about it. Not sure if I AM late as the dates seem to vary between the 5th and about the 10th with the 7th as a sort of average!

OP posts:
squeakytoy · 06/03/2011 15:00

As its only the 6th, then you probably arent even late yet! (dont forget Feb was only 28 days!)

Catnao · 06/03/2011 15:02

Thanks - well, we will see - I appear to be getting obssessed, which most likely isn't helping!
