Got another call from my call provider trying to sell me their broadband service (which I don't want) - this after me asking them to put me on a don't call list.

AIBU to change providers and let this lot know exactly why?

(Disclaimer: I hate any form of telesales. My evenings and weekends are precious. If I want stuff, I'll do the research and shop around. I am 43 years old and there isn't enough of my life left for me to wste precious minutes of it telling people I don't want stuff).

YANBU. I keep getting calls from people doing "surveys", and can't even cut off some income for them, to get them to stop!

plupedantic I'm so glad it isn't just me...

We're on the telephone preference service, but we still get calls from people who are calling from overseas (on behalf of British companies)to sell me stuff.

I'm usually polite, but I did get really, really shirty with one guy who called me on Sunday afternoon and wouldn't take no for an answer.

Argh, indeed. Wankers.
