I know I am whining really!

Took a friend's child in to help as emergency but she sent him (aged 11, my oldest same age) with 18 games to play and he is sat telling the boys their Mum doesn;t really understand Halo and is just voer reactinga nd a bit eman.

Harmless, judgemental, really don't mind having him (nice Mum, needs a hand as started new job adn aprtner gone) but whingy and tired today.

Thanks for indulging me.

This is a huge annoyance to me. My son is 10 and all his friends play on 18 games. I just say that this is the rule in MY house and I'd prefer him not to in other friends' houses.I am aware of the fact that he can choose when I am not there, but a Mum of another friend has told me that my son will play a football game on a PSP while the others are playing COD, or play a board game with her daughter. She also told me that she wishes her son would do the same... but she bought the game for him! Hope you don't mind me joining in your whinge Wink.

My kids don't have 18 games. My son knows that I don't approve of him playing such games at others houses, and I hope that disapproval will at least be with him even if he does (IYSWIM). Hopefully he will remember that I don't approve of games where people shoot other people indiscriminately.

Its your house your rules, and he's probably just try some bravado. Get them to do something constructive, and he'll soon forget.
