i think this would be great if

it happened at the same time every night - say 9pm

we had an ongoing rota of quizmasters to which anyone could put their name and a seperate scorekeeper - becuase it should be live ( see next point)

it was a live quiz, whereby the questions were posted live and it depended on the sharpness of the refresh button and the quickest thinker

then the first person to answer got 10 points
second 5 third 3 and the rest correct got 1 point

i used to go in compuserve quizzes many many years ago and this was the format and it worked very well.
