I'm so annoyed at myself. Everything upsets me. One dodgy look from somebody or even a minor disagreement and I'm a fucking wreck!!!

What's wrong with me? :(

Are you pg? I'm like at just now but think its hormones.

If you find out tell me.. My mother is the very same!

Seriously.. you obviously have self esteem issues. Are you happy?

prettymuchapixiegirl · 07/02/2011 10:56

I get like that at times too, Freudian. Although it's been a lot better since I've been having counselling. My self-esteem was at rock bottom but as it improves so do my feelings about things in general.

FreudianSlippery · 07/02/2011 11:03

It only seems to have started again recently. I've always been a non-confrontational person (I get that from both parents, lucky me!) although I have got more confident due to having to stick up for my DCs (as opposed to myself IYSWIM)

Not pregnant, but I did have an infection last month which delayed my period for over a week, so maybe that's screwed up hormones somehow...

I'm keeping a track of it (period tracker app Blush) so if there's a pattern at least I'll be prepared.

I'd also recommend counselling, makes it far easier to figure out what's making you upset, and whether it's hormonal or not.

nobodysbaby · 07/02/2011 12:32

This is me too - I think I can remember every confrontation I've ever had, even people gesturing at me whilst driving! I probably come across quite confident, and am obliged to deal with bolshy young people as part of my job, but I feel exactly like the OP. I wish I didn't.
