To take ds off school early every day next week

Just 10 minutes earlier than his normal school finishing time so DH can collect him & bring him home before he is due to start work & save me having to drive as I've just started BP medication & i am feeling a bit dizzy at times. Would it be unreasonable ?

I think it's probably very sensible. I would write to the school and explain the situation :)

gordyslovesheep · 06/02/2011 17:44

not unreasonable at all x

elmofan · 06/02/2011 17:46

On the contrary. It's very sensible.

Hope you feel better soon. x

I don't think YABU, but I wonder whether you could get another child's parent to pick yours up and drop him back to you? It would save your DH the hassle.

onceamai · 06/02/2011 17:49

Sounds sensible if nobody else can drop him home for you.

elmofan · 06/02/2011 17:51

Thanks tainted & purple Smile unfortunately my dc's school is 7 miles away so don't have any one else who could drop off / pick up . Dh can do it if we get ds off 10 mins early .

if it's only 10 mins before the end of school then YADNBU. Much better (and safer) for you not to drive if you are feeling dizzy.

TheMonster · 06/02/2011 17:58

It's the sensible option if you ask me.

elmofan · 06/02/2011 17:59

I'm not feeling dizzy all of the time but when it happens its quite scary & i would be worried if it happened while i was driving tbh . My GP reckons it will stop in a week or two when my body becomes used to the medication.

Absolutely. I can't see why the school would object to this. I hope you feel better soon.

elmofan · 06/02/2011 19:53

Thanks Smile

Going to write a note & hopefully ds's school won't mind .
