To find this OTT and a bit horrifying?

Can't believe the shop covered this pic of Elton & his baby up due to it being offensive beacuse it featured a gay family.

Also get believe that such blatant homophobia is so rife in a country that is meant to be 'civilised'.

And, yeah, yeah, I know it's from the Daily Mail

different states have different laws in the USA

Although I am not sure why a parent would feel they would have to explain anything at all if a child saw a photo of two men with a baby on the front of a magazine.

Doubt it WW. There are still quite a few states in the US where homosexuality is seriously frowned upon.

Yeah, different states have different state laws I think. Think even in some states oral sex is illegal. Not quite sure how heavily this is enforced but I imagine life there must be pretty grim Grin

I think the picture is truly lovely.

My dcs have just seen it and don't get the problem.

Ds (14) said "Oh yeah, they're the old gay blokes with the baby aren't they? Yeah - that's cool - they'll be good parents cos Elton doesn't do drugs these days does he?"

Dd (11) said "aaah - that's well sweet. Oh yeah - I didn't realise it was two blokes. Does it matter?"

There you go - they are not damaged for life are they?

I am disproportionately tickled by how massively he's misunderstood the story and missed the point.

However, YANBU OP. What a bunch of arses this particular shop is.
