Sorry OP for taking your thread slightly off topic but you've just reminded me...
I found MN because someone put a link to it on a totally unrelated forum, taking the piss out of a thread on here (can't remember which one) so a few of us had a good lurk round.
Then a bit of a spat broke out on MN between two posters because one had posted a 
to the other one.
Well none of us on the other forum knew what the chuffing hell the biscuit thing was all about so the conversation on the other forum when something like this...
1st Poster: Can someone tell me what the argument is about on that thread?
2nd Poster: I can't work it out. One MNettter gave the other one a biscuit and she's not happy.
1st Poster: Why ever not?
2nd Poster: I don't know, I quite like biscuits myself...but this woman is going mental about it?
1st Poster: Is she calling her fat or greedy do you think?
2nd Poster: Not a clue...yes maybe she's on a diet and the other person is trying to tempt her to eat one? Boy she's angry isn't she?
1st Poster: Are you sure it's a biscuit? I've looked again and maybe it's an arse hole emotican?
2nd Poster: Yes you could be right..though it does look red and sore (shudders)
I PMSL thinking about it now...we had to Google MN biscuit to get the history
