Watching Dancing on Ice and Jason told a celeb his facial expressions made him look like he was missing a few chromosomes. Shock Sad.

AIBU to be upset by this or being oversensitive?

I thought it was out of order!

BibiBlocksberg · 23/01/2011 19:55

I really don't like him ever since he told Sharon Davies her performance was reminiscent of a turd that just won't flush Shock

I'm not against criticism but there's no need to make it so personal imo.

PhishFoodAddiction · 23/01/2011 19:57

That's a horrid thing to say. YANBU.

lottiejenkins · 23/01/2011 19:57

I didnt like the comment either. My son has had chromosome tests done in the past!

EsioTrot · 23/01/2011 19:59

I think that's horrible YA def NBU imo!

MarioandLuigi · 23/01/2011 20:00

Nasty piece of work!

falsemessageoflethargy · 23/01/2011 20:01

I was a bit shocked actually - dont care if people think I'm oversensitive. Hmm

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/01/2011 20:02

YANBU, my DD has a chromosomal disorder and that comment was disgusting.

ReclaimingMyInnerPeachy · 23/01/2011 20:03

YANBU

They won;t care though nobody ever does

midori1999 · 23/01/2011 20:03

He has been quite rude tonight. He also told one celeb her legs were 'stumpy' and another her backside was like a baboons. Hardly constructive critisism, is it?

TattyDevine · 23/01/2011 20:04

We are moving into a day and age where comments like this are no longer acceptable and will become a thing of the past, on live television anyway.

This is a Good Thing.

SJisontheway · 23/01/2011 20:04

What a disgusting thing to say. He crossed a line. YANBU

strawberrycake · 23/01/2011 20:04

Well I have no reason to be sensitive about this subject, but I consider it pretty disgusting, even more so on TV. Same vein as mocking 'mongols' isn't it?

hobbgoblin · 23/01/2011 20:05

He was saying he looked like someone with a chromsome related disorder? Is that how he meant it or was it in a 'you look a few sandiwches short of a picnic' and he just mixed, um, metaphors insults?

TrinityMotherOfRhinos · 23/01/2011 20:05

my mate pointed out that he could have meant monkeys as the differene between us and them is a few less chroimosomes

I need to say I have no idea if that is true but I'm still feeel even if it is true, he should not have said that, no one would have thought of monkeys from that comment

very glad I dont watch it

Booandpops · 23/01/2011 20:08

I thought it was thoughtless but I guess he plays on being a bad guy. Wot a knob.

LairOfTheDetermined · 23/01/2011 20:09

May i suggest that you go watch iplay and watch the skater's comments. he was equally out of line with some very OTT and potentially offensive comment but i guess it is who the target/subject matter is will affect the response.

I do suspect that there will be a little bit of editing to the online version.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/01/2011 20:10

Yes the skater's comment was horrific too.
