DH starts a new job tomorrow (has been off work since christmas due to shitty agency work in warehouses) He is working away for in house training, staying hotel all paid for by company.

But as some days i have been going to have a little nap in the afternoon from getting up early with the boys.

So as today is my last day for 4 days of having help with the boys from DH AIBU to go back to bed for an hour or two before dinner to catch up on a bit of sleep?!

I kinda think i am but i am knackered and my eyes are stinging. :( Didnt get to sleep til 4am and boys were awake at 7.30.

Why would you think it's unreasonable? DH is there and you'll be a far more productive person after a kip.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 23/01/2011 12:56

depends on why you didnt get to sleep until 4am. If it was insomnia its best just to try and keep going even though it is utterly miserable. otherwise yanbu

i personally dont think it is unreasonable providing that your DH hasn't also been up from 7.30 having only got to sleep at 4am. if he has then maybe you could both have a nap but take turns IYSWIM?

Definately nap! Afternoon naps are the best and you will feel so much better afterwards, and be a nicer Mummy (if youare anything like me - I am a total cow when I have had no sleep Grin ).
It's ages 'til dinner - go back to bed for 3 hours Grin

I actally prefer to have an afternoon nap than a sleep in. No DH wasnt up awake at 7. Think im going to go for an hour :)
