i really really really dont want to but...
i bought a bag in the clothes section on here,2 1/2 weeks ago,
i trust the seller, she seems lovely and i believe shes a regular.
but,the parcel has not arrived, ive emailed her,and pm'ed her to no avail.
i just want to know if she mailed it yet,so i can get a tracking number or something and contact royal mail about it.
im ^contemplating opening a dispute in case my messages are going straight into her 'junk' folder.
but really im hoping someone will have a better idea or she'll see this herself, and thus find my emails...

any ideas...please

I would open the dispute. You've given her a chance.

FabbyChic · 21/01/2011 19:51

Why would you contact Royal Mail that is down to the seller to do.

Open the dispute via the Resolution Centre, then leave it a few days to see if she responds, if she does not escalate to a claim and let it roll.

I hope you did not send a personal payment as that is not covered.

clumsymumluckybaby · 21/01/2011 20:00

oh crapidy crapidy crap

i paid with a personal payment Blush

im an idiot aren't I.

oh well...

FabbyChic · 21/01/2011 20:01

Shit. You can only open a dispute when you pay for goods.

Personal payments are not covered, sorry think you been scammed, and there never were any goods.

TheMonster · 21/01/2011 20:02

I hope it wasn't too much money. I NEVER pay by personal now. It's not worth the risk.

HecateQueenOfWitches · 21/01/2011 20:03

is she a regular poster round the main boards or just a regular seller?

clumsymumluckybaby · 21/01/2011 20:17

fuck.

not a huge amount of money,but....

i wont be paying 'gifted' again.

im not sure how 'regular' she is,but i do think some of you would know her.

fuck.

OP posts:
HecateQueenOfWitches · 21/01/2011 20:21

is she currently posting? do an advanced search on her name.

If she is, go on the thread she posted on last, and say something like "Hi X. Check your in-box, I have pmed you about those clothes I bought." chase her round the board saying that if you have to Grin

and because I'm a cow, if she ignored me after that, it would be a 'shoutout' thread with her name on it! WHERE ARE MY FUCKING CLOTHES?!!! Grin

clumsymumluckybaby · 21/01/2011 20:23
Grin

might just try the 'shout out'

cant do the advanced search (i dont think) as her name is a very popular brand of buggy...

OP posts:
FabbyChic · 21/01/2011 20:23

I agree with Hecate, find out where she is posting and embarass her on the thread.

clumsymumluckybaby · 21/01/2011 20:24

unless,i can,and im just being thick.

TheMonster · 21/01/2011 20:28

under the blue line, where it says campaigns.

HecateQueenOfWitches · 21/01/2011 20:28

OP posts:
TheMonster · 21/01/2011 21:20

put a thread for her in the for sale section with her name in the title.

wayoftheworld · 21/01/2011 21:37

If the initial contact was made on Mumsnet you could ask MN to try and contact the lady- they might have more info on her. But wait for a couple of days since you seem to have found another way. In business deals like this she can not just disappear - I presume you have already payed!!

If she still does not come back to you, you can start a dispute with Paypal - hope you paid through them!! Otherwise you are on your own here...

But in my experience of dealing (ebay mainly) things do resolve themselves slowly- only had to start a dispute once and have bought tons of stuff....Blush

clumsymumluckybaby · 21/01/2011 22:44

bodyof thanks, i did think about that, but you have to have a subscription and i dont have one.

wayof i might do that in a couple of days if this attempt doesnt work...i did pay through paypal, but i 'gifted' the payment,so it doesnt count Sad

OP posts:
TheMonster · 22/01/2011 10:54

Oh, of course. I have a subscription - do you want me to put a thread up?
