I've just looked at the acronyms on MN! There's hundreds of new ones, that I certainly don't use, but are there enough to tell a story?

We all harp on about not using txt speak, but using MN speak is OK?

So, AIBU, but AFAIK, my DH is in the pub, with BIL. Now that's fine, but before I POAS and found out I was PG, he'd be well up for SWI or SWOI TBH. Any time of day or night IIRC!

These days, since the LO came along, he's just not interested! I've complained that I'm a SAHM and I have needs, but he says IBU and says 'YABOS, FFS!'

Charming eh? He's a PITA if you ask me! I keep telling him, he's BU, but he won't have it!

IME or even IMHO, he is jut not playing ball! My MIL would be so cross to know her PFB is being a PITA to his DW. Well, she would, if I told her, but she MMTI! LOL!

If she was on MN, she'd understand, IYSWIM, but in her POV, he can do no wrong.

Anyway, DH is still in the pub, with BIL, FYI and I am alone with my thoughts and MN, as usual!

Insane Posters On A Thread

Basially, in English, I said,

My husband used to want sex at the drop of a hat, but since we had our daughter, he' more interested in going to the pub. I'd tell his mum about it, but she make my teeth stand on edge and she' an a Mumsnetter, so she wouldn't understand anyway. She would hate to hear anything bad said about her precious first born.

So, am I being unreasonable and over sensitive about it or not?

Actually it's not an acronym unless it makes a "word" IYSWIM??? LOL!!

For example - Scuba, laser, etc.....

Insane people/posters on a thread - the same ones have been making up weird imaginative stuff on their own threads for ages, and they took the insult someone chucked at them and ran with it. Or so I gather - someone else asked the same question a while back.

And bump is just when you add to a thread to push it back to the top of the topic list in the hope that someone else will reply.
