Someone did something I didn't like. I then mentioned it to someone else who agreed with me that the first someone was well out of order.

That second someone then mentioned it to someone else who disagreed and said that I was bang out of order myself.

Naturally, I gave the third someone an earful but now I want to know what a load of strangers think about it?

Thoughts please - but don't say anything I might disagree with or you'll be out of order as well.

Grin Yes. Does that help at all?

Lonnie · 19/01/2011 16:02

lets see

scenario 1) you told the person not to pass on and they did. " speak to the person that passed on

scenario 2) you didnt tell the person not to pass on and they did " remember to tell someone to not pass on next time"

In general I would say that YABU to give someone an earful for disagreing with you and that YABU for noexplaining exactly what went on.

your 3rd person is BU because they were not invited to give their opinion.

All in all you should have simply told person 3 that you were not interested in their view.

Definitely.... post your side of the story on Facebook, write to the Prime Minister (because most things these days seem to be his fault) and then - in the grand tradition of MN - grow a pair.

FlamingoBingo · 19/01/2011 16:05

pascoe28 · 19/01/2011 16:36

Chil1234 - my thoughts exactly. I am sure the first someone would never have done the thing I didn't like under the last Government, when everything was happy and cheerful and wonderful.

It must be David Cameron's fault.
