Period Pain with no period.

I've had extremely bad (bad enough to stop me sleeping/doing usual tasks) period pains since Sunday but so far no period. This is unusual. Normally I have pains for a few hours and then start bleeding. The pains are never this bad.

I can't remember my last period as I don't keep track but I'd have noticed if I'd missed one.

I'm on the pill. Been on the same brand for 13 years, only stopped it for the time I was trying to concieve and became pregnant.

Not had this before. Is bad enough to worry me. Not finding anything on google.

Has anyone else had this?

Could be a water infection..the symptoms (for me anyway) are almost exactly the same as a period pain.

I had this when i was pregnant, very early on. Lasted a few weeks.

I agree that it could be a urine infection.

I also get ovulation pains - it couldn't be that, could it?

I think I'd get myself to the doc if I were you, just to be on the safe side. If it were a urine infection, it could be diagnosed on the spot and treated with antibiotics.

I have pain for 2-3 days before, not on the pill though.

I went to the doctors on Friday because I've been feeling exhausted and picked up a bug.

He did a urine dippy thing then and it was all fine. I know they show up UTIs because I use the same ones at work.

No idea if it would show up a pregnancy though but honestly don't think I am. Before I've always 'known' I was pregnant. Don't feel like that.
