Lol, I was just looking at pictures if my DS and thinking the same thing...... Obviously I'd never say it out loud! Wink

I'm guilty of thinking the same but I wouldn't post it on Facebook lol in case I made people want to vom all over the laptop! :-)
I always cringe at OTT statuses, feel like writing get a bloody grip lol! :-)

stewmaker · 17/01/2011 11:06

awww, i think it's lovely, but then i'm still in that phase myself.

If you don't like it, hide it, or ignore it

curlymama · 17/01/2011 11:08

Don't be mean! Someone looked at their beautiful sleeping children, felt that rush of love and pride that we all get, and chose to write it on fb. Fb statuses are for posting your random thoughts if that's what you choose to do.

NinkyNonker · 17/01/2011 11:08

I must admit to thinking that when I look at my pfb dd, dh and I often comment on her general overwhelming gorgeousness. Grin Not sure I'd post about it though, but would hope not to judged by supposed friends if I did. If she was saying she isn't surprised they made such lovely children is understand more!

SoupDragon · 17/01/2011 11:12

you're only jealous because your children are ugly Wink

ZacharyQuack · 17/01/2011 11:14

Lots of people post daft FB statuses. It's the nature of the beast.

Hope your friend isn't on MN.

pommedeterre · 17/01/2011 11:14

YANBU to think it's yuck to put it on fb. It is.
YABU to think it's yuck to think it. It's normal (possibly why it's odd to put it on fb - like you think you're the only one).

PassionKiss · 17/01/2011 11:15

Agree - I would think it but never post it!

Facebook updates should be either be funny or to say something exciting/ important has happened to you IMO

Bumblequeen - yuk! all those are awful!

To be fair none of my fb friends would post anything like that - probably because I don't add old school friends (usually the worst culprits from what I've seen!)

plantsitter · 17/01/2011 11:20

Why don't you comment on it so she can de-friend you and not bother having people who say bitchy things about her on internet forums as 'friends'?

kreecherlivesupstairs · 17/01/2011 11:27

And this is why I don't use facebook.
My DD is beautiful and I can't understand how two very ordinary looking people made her.

Takeresponsibility · 17/01/2011 11:30

YABU for expecting intelligent comments on FB.

fel1x · 17/01/2011 11:30

God, you miserable lot! Its a nice thing to think and a nice thing to say. Bet you dont get wound up about the statuses that say 'is it bed time yet? fed up of the kids today!' etc.
Why is it so much more acceptable to be a miserable arse than it is to be happy with your lot?
