Ok, looking for Children's Champion Awrds nominations for my friends son, Corporal Aran Rushe.He is an army medic who has saved countless lives but has been nominated for saving the life of an eight year old Afgan girl while under enemy fire, as well as that of a 6 month old baby(See details in News of The World pg16. Not sure of the web address as I have not registered for the NOTW site). I have known Aran since he was a child (even used to babysit him feeling old now...) and he has always put others before himself. Suffice to say that all of us who know him are extremely proud and would love to see this brave young man be rewarded for all his hard work.
