I've been off with family for the last few days - we're just back home, DH is faffing about on his computer and I have settled down to catch up on my AIBU and Chat ... it is so soothing!

So, nice to be back and 'see' you all after the Christmas break!

I think I almost managed not to call my husband 'DH' in front of the family ... did use the phrase 'Am I being unreasonable to think ...' quite a lot!

and then you feel a little guilty as you dip your hand into the sweet bowl start posting again, before realising you've overdone it again.

Me too. DH has no idea of how long I spend on this site. We were in the UK for 10 days [yawn]

Ahhh ... apparently, I have a 'MN cackle'.

I think yours is nicer!

DH is immensely impressed with the wisdom of MN, but does tend to refer to it as 'the coven' or 'the hive mind'.

I'm deeply calmed by reading about everyone else's parent/PIL enragements, it's wonderful!
